We serve Jesus Christ and His people and we are passionate about reaching people with His love.

When my family and I arrived at Cornerstone in March of 2012, we breathed a sigh of relief because we felt at home.  We have experienced the love and care of God's people here in amazingly tangible ways.  For us, Cornerstone has been proven to be a healthy, growing church...a church family we are so glad to belong to.  As a pastor, it is a joy to be serving a community of believers who know we follow Jesus together.  It's easy to invite any and all to be a part of what God is doing at Cornerstone!

Come, let's trek along together. Let's enjoy His presence together.

I love serving here at Cornerstone with the team that God has brought together.  I greatly value spiritual health and want to see every person in our church family living life together in God honoring relationships with others.  I want to make sure that our leadership team and church continues to grow in health and effectiveness as we follow Jesus and live our life together for Him.

I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Journalism.  At the end of my college education God began working to change my career direction and life and I pursued His call to serve His church as a pastor.  I graduated from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary with a Masters of Religious Education and have served as as youth pastor in Hastings for 7 years, and as a senior pastor in Stanton for 8 years before being called to Ludington in January of 2016.

My wife, Keri and I have been married for over 20 years and we have four great kids. We love spending time together as a family and we're looking forward to living near Lake Michigan.

I like playing guitar, cribbage, and watching my favorite sports teams.

I consider it one of the greatest privileges to be a youth pastor and furthermore, the youth pastor at the church I grew up in!  There are few things more rewarding than being given the opportunity to love, disciple, and send the next generation out to live the abundant life the Lord Jesus Christ has called them to.

I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science.  After three years of working in health and fitness, the Lord called me to become a pastor!  I was blessed with the youth pastor position at Cornerstone in September of 2012 and am grateful every day for the way God has shepherded my life.

My wife, Kayleigh and I love to camp, hike, run, and just be outdoors!  We also both have a passion to see people come to know Jesus Christ and become radical disciples for Him!  We are excited and thankful for the ways God continues to work through us as we serve the body of Christ here at Cornerstone Baptist!

We love Jesus! Holly and I met at North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota and have been married for 25 years.  Both of us felt a calling on our lives to serve in ministry when we were teenagers.  We have lead worship in a few different churches during the last 13 years while working in construction and property management.  Our God is so good!  We love to give Him glory in the songs that we sing as a church.  We are blessed to serve with a worship team filled with passion and skill.  Each week is a pleasure.

We have 4 wonderful children!  Our boys (19 & 21) are out of the house for now and our girls (11 & 16) we adopted 6 years ago.  Life has had its ups and downs but we have found Jesus is faithful to bring us through.  We enjoy the outdoors with activities like skiing, backpacking, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and rock climbing.  We especially enjoy our family.

  • Connections Director

Growing up in a wonderful family, my parents loved Jesus and modeled how to live a life of faith.  I can't remember a time I didn't want to know about Jesus, but it wasn't until I was in high school that I began to see the Bible as more than great stories and ideas.  I learned to study the Bible for myself and it was then that I came to know a Holy God as a loving reality and in relationship!  Since then several Godly leaders have challenged and mentored me as I continue to pursue Jesus.  Joining the CBC staff in January 2014 was one of those immeasurably more kind of blessings, I get to meet people where they're at and help them take their next steps with Christ and with us here at Cornerstone.

My husband Mike and I have been married for 27 years. We have three children: Zach, Bree, and Nate.  We like kayaking, hiking, Yatzee, watching movies and pretty much anything that allows us to be together.

If you have questions about how to connect here at Cornerstone please

  • Children's Ministries Serve Coordinator

    Cassie Harper

Hi!  I am very excited to be the Children's Ministry Serve Coordinator. I love being a part of a ministry that helps with the next generation.  I have served as 2016 VBS Volunteer Coordinator and a youth leader here for almost 8 years now and have enjoyed seeing the growth that the students experience, and more importantly how their relationship with Christ grows. Even though it is a different age group, I believe I can use those same gifts God has blessed me with to help the Children's Ministry.

I was born and raised here in Ludington and have been going to this church my whole life.  My parents are long time members here. I also have two older sisters and a younger brother. Family is important to me.

I love my job!  I work with an amazing team of servants for the Lord, both in the office and in our congregation!  My career path was on another road, when in 1999, I was asked to join the staff and become the secretary to our Senior Pastor.  I am so thankful to the Lord for leading me here.  I enjoy helping others.  I enjoy coming along side ministries and equipping them to serve so that they can help others learn and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am happily married to Roy and have four children and three grandchildren.  I enjoy sewing, scrapbooking, and camping with my family.
