AWANA Clubs are for any child in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
We do have a Preschool program called Cubbies, but this is for AWANA Workers.

Dear Parents/Guardians, We are so excited and blessed to have your child in Awana with us this year! We truly believe that children are extra special to God.
Awana stands for “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed,” coming from the scripture 2 Timothy 2:15 and the goal of Awana is that children would know, love & serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Awana is a place where kids can: grow in their faith; have a blast at Game Time; hide God’s Word in their hearts; earn awesome prizes and awards and build relationships with their peers and leaders.
how to help your child with awana
Memorizing Scripture for sections is a huge part of Awana. Help kids practice their verses every day to hide God’s word in their hearts! • You can record your child saying their memory verse and email, FB, or text it to their leader. Have your child give you their leader’s contact information if you would like to do this. • Do the study with your child together or separately and talk about it. • SPARKS: There is a CD in the back of the book. Listen to this in the car, at home, or wherever. • T&T: There are parent pages available. Ask our Commander Lisa or Family Ministry Pastor Jason and we will be happy to get them to you! Important Information
AWANA is from 5:45-7:30 pm Wednesdays September-May
Doors open at 5:30pm. All children and Awana staff meet in the Fellowship Hall for Opening Ceremony then they are dismissed to their individual clubs.
Drop-off and Pick-up are through the door by the office. The door closest to Nelson Road to the right of the main sanctuary door.
Registration is required and can be done as you enter the church.
If Ludington schools or after school activites are closed due to weather, AWANA is cancelled.
Dues of $0.25 cents a night or $7.00 for the year. Scholarships are available if needed.
Ideas to help your child go deeper with God
“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Keysforkids.org has free daily devotionals for kids online, or they can be sent to you for free! There is also an app.
Focusonthefamily.com has at least a week’s worth of “Adventures in Odyssey” radio program on it for free. There is a new one everyday: “Created for children ages 8-12 (but loved by listeners of all ages), Adventures in Odyssey is a 30-minute drama that combines the faith lessons parents appreciate with characters and stories that kids love.” (From Focusonthefamily.com’s website). There is also on app for this.
Read a chapter of Psalms, Proverb’s, the Gospels, or any other book of the Bible with your children every day and talk about it. Ask: What did you learn, who is in this chapter, what can I apply to my life? Or anything else that comes up.
